Sirui VA-5 Fit for Arca adapter plate

The adapter plate works very nice. For my Sirui VA-5, the locking mechanism sticks out a little so I had to file a little bit of the adapter plate to get it to fit. Only took a couple minutes of filing a tiny little and then checking, repeated until it fit just right. It appeared to be a locking mechanism/tripod head issue and not an adapter plate issue.

Hey, Patrick! I see you've already made it work, but I wanted to leave this comment for anyone in the future.

The tension on the VA-5 is adjustable beyond the initial tension. If you pull out on the knob that opens and closes that locking mechanism, it will cam freely and allow you to adjust it further. No filing required!

Arca adapter plate

I like how this plate is not as bulky as others and has beveled corner edges making binocular adapters easier to store when off the binoculars and tripod.
