Welcome to the second iteration of the most capable hunting tripod ever created. We don’t say that lightly. The original aluminum Outdoorsmans tripod that you’ve seen in backpacks, on distant ridgelines, or in panniers is still alive and well–with a few upgrades.

This is the tripod that most hunters need. 6061 Aircraft Aluminum, three legs, stable as hell, and components that will not fail you. If you’re looking to buy once and never shop for tripods again, you’ve come to the right corner of the internet.

It’s unbreakable. We say this about all of our gear, but you’ll never worry about being left without it in the field.

It’s stable. Although an ultra-light tripod may seem appealing for carrying around, the simple fact is that most pure carbon fiber has not yet been able to match the pure stiffness and stability of aluminum.

This tripod has been field tested for decades by guides such as Jake Franklin of Kika Worldwide, professionals like Steven Rinella, Chris Denham, and Nate Simmons, and many other, lesser-known killers around the world. The Gen 2 only improves upon the legendary performance of the Gen 1.

If you purchase an Outdoorsmans-branded Tripod or Accessory and it happens to fail, whether you broke it or not, we will take care of you.

We guarantee Outdoorsmans products for life, though occasionally, service is required. If the issue is a manufacturer defect, we’ll cover it. If, say, you ran over it with your ATV, we’ll only charge you the actual cost of the repair and shipping (typically extremely reasonable) and not a cent more.

Our priority is getting your gear back on the mountain, and we’ll do everything we can to make that happen. All of this applies whether it was purchased from us, our retail partners, or secondhand on Rokslide.
