Two years after the launch of the latest generation EL Range 42, Swarovski Optik is introducing a smaller, lighter 32mm version in a choice of 8X or 10X magnification. At only 24 oz. and 5.6 inches long, the EL Range 32 offers the choice of choosing the left or right-side button for the measurement button, a handy feature whether right or left handed. The opposite button will become the mode button. With ranging capability from 10 to 1500 yards, the EL Range 32 is an ideal lightweight companion for the firearm or bow hunter.

The 32 mm model with its new single bridge design combines all the familiar EL Range features such as HD optics for high contrast images, magnesium housing, ballistic readout of rifle scope click corrections in MOA or MRAD, scan mode and Tracking Assistant. The EL Range can be configured according to individual preferences using the EL Range Configurator App and customized with the hunter’s own data for precise ranging. The FRR Forehead Rest has been further enhanced for maximum stability and is available as an accessory.

Best of the best

Best combination of compact and versatility without losing out on light gathering or being bulky to carry around. Having the stud installed has proven to be a great asset for glassing and getting more consistent target ranges off of tripod.

A Perfect Compact Rangefinder

It has been a few years…well, okay maybe closer to a decade that we have been begging Swarovski to create a more compact laser range finding binoculars, and preferably with the button on the right side. That day has come, with the introduction of the 8x32 and 10x32 EL Range binoculars. The engineers even surprised us by putting a button on both sides!

A few weeks ago, I did get to put an 8x32 version to the test, hunting axis, pigs and goats in Hawaii. I had no doubt that they would perform flawlessly, Swarovski has perfected the EL Range technology over the last several years. What I needed to know is how functional was the design and whether you could run the binoculars with one hand. The answer is yes. All of you right-handed bowhunters (and even you southpaws) can rest assured that you can focus and range with your bow ready in one hand.

The EL Range 32 has all the same features of the EL Range 42, including ballistic solutions in MOA or MRAD, scan mode, and tracking assistant. The only real difference is the 42’s measuring range is 10-2200 yards while the 32’s is 10-1640 yards.

If you are looking for a compact laser rangefinder binocular with a proven operating system that can be operated by one hand (left or right), the new 32 EL Range is the right product for you.
