The Rundown on the NL 10x52

1: They’re a little bit bigger. 10mm larger objective lenses offer supreme light gathering and brightness. There is also some new optical magic that is present in the NL 42 and 52 that is not available in the SLC 15x56.

2: They’re still very easy to hand-hold. The ergonomics of the NL Pure remain unmatched. As tripod manufacturers, we feel a slight twinge of nervousness every time we hand-hold these incredible optics. However:

3: It gets better. The view through each of these new binoculars from a stable tripod (at least ours) is simply unbelievable. The field of view, even on the 14x52, combined with literally the greatest optical system ever created is, as Joe would put it, sublime.

From Swarovski:
Swarovski NL Pure 10x52 redefines performance with 10x magnification: adverse light conditions are no longer a challenge with the new Swarovski binoculars. Effortlessly identify even the smallest details in the early morning and late evening hours.

The enormous field of view ensures a constant overview of the action even at high magnification. SWAROVISION technology guarantees spectacular images with incredible color fidelity and absolute edge sharpness.

While the 14x52 will get all the initial attention, the 10x52 is a spectacular product and is a heavy-hitter in its own right. A wide field of view is a great selling feature, but it can come at the cost of edge-to-edge clarity and depth of field. The Swarovski engineers kept the field of view in the 10x52 to 390’ at 1000 yards and delivered an image quality your eyes will love for hours on end.
