Why do my binoculars tilt side to side?
When the adapter is in the fully locked position you may notice that the binoculars are still able to tilt from side to side. This is intentional and necessary for two reasons:

  1. Glassing on flat ground is not a common occurrence and being able to level the binoculars is vital to staying comfortable and effective while glassing.
  2. Mistakes happen and sometimes spills can happen. If something like that were to happen, having a little give in the adapter will help to reduce damage and impact.

Binocular Stud- Best ever

As an avid hunter and competitive shooter I have tried many different configurations of mounting options over the years. I finally found one that works exactly the way I want it to. I installed the studs on my new 12X Swaro TA's and older SLC 15X to pair with the bino adapter, it's a great system across the board. Boomshockalocka!!!

Binocular Stud

I am very grateful to have the binocular stud. With my old tripod adapter, I could not adjust or spread out my binoculars for people who eyes are wider apart than mine. With the binocular stud, anyone can adjust my binoculars to their own setting.
