The key to the Outdoorsmans Pack System is the frame. The curvature allows the pack to ride as close to your center of gravity as possible. This gives you the stability of an internal frame, but the carrying capacity of the external frame. The polypropylene frame is rigid enough in the vertical plane to handle a 200 lb. load, yet is flexible enough to twist with your body while climbing or slipping through brush. The bag is attached to the frame at eight different points with easily inserted buckles. Behind the bag is a meat carrying system that is tucked neatly against the frame so you can convert your gear bag into a meat packer in less than two minutes.

I bought this frame as a gift. I upgraded from the Optics Hunter pack to the Palisade 90. My brother really likes my pack so I bought another frame to gift him my Optics Hunter pack. I’m a big fan of the Outdoorsman’s Pack systems. Would highly recommend.

perfect for packing out Sambar

Hi, have actually been meaning to drop a line. Service was excellent, delivery ahead of schedule. But first trip out with it shot a Sambar deer. Too big to carry out, they have to be butchered where they fall. The sling is great for holding the packed meat bags. did it in three trips, but the loaded up pack is so comfortable and carries the weight easily, pretty sure will be able to do the next one in two. Best hunting purchase since the rangefinder.

Excellent frame and suspension.

Love how adjustable and versatile the frame is. Still figuring out now I will use the system, etc. Look forward to packing out some heavy loads this fall (I hope ;)
