Provides an additional 12.5" of height and is designed for our Compact and Standard tripods.

These extensions replace the existing stock center post of our tripods.

Center Post Adds Desired Height

Materials are solid and has proper fit. The center post adds the desired height to allow for spotting while standing (I'm 6'2"). Seems pretty stable but with a higher center of gravity caution is probably warranted with a heaving spotting scope. I like their products a lot but wish you didn't have to buy multiple accessories to make the tripod functional.

This product is exactly what I needed for my Outdoorsman Tripod so I no longer have to get on one knee in the mud and rain to look through my Swarovski spotting scope. Awesome product to add the extra height needed to stand while glassing!
