Leica APO-Televid spotting scopes feature apochromatic lenses and use sophisticated fluoride glass for perfect imaging performance. What’s more, the inner optics are protected by an additional, optically neutral front lens glass. In the APO Televid 82 W an exceptionally bright 82 mm objective delivers extremely rich images. With its zoom range from 25 up to 50 the 25-50x WW ASPH wide-angle eyepiece guarantees incomparable viewing quality in every situation. Crystal clear scope and color rendition.

I use the 82 & the 65 apo mainly for locating mule deer, shead antlers. Bighorn sheep and all wildlife. I have Owened & used Swarovski atx 95 and the 85. As well as used zeiss 85. The leica set up next to the Swarovski has crisper edges and a cleaner definition slightly edging out the atx 85. The 95 has a touch to much hazing at high power. I thought it was the scope so took back Swarovski & bought another atx 95. It has a haze or almost soft smoke visibility at high power. The Leica 82 has exceptional glass clarity. Both the leica & Swarovski with the 2x or 1.8 doubler cause a darker and less than desirable clarity on both scopes. I do not recommend them at all. I love the design of the Swarovski but the leica just has a higher quality glass with better edges and color giving me a slightly better edge on finding shed antlers. Leica apo 82 & 65 with out the 1.8 doubler is crystal clear.
