    Nice pack system

    While I haven’t used this pack yet I’m impressed with how durable it feels and the comfort when wearing it. And the lifetime warranty that comes with it makes it worth every penny over a cheap Amazon pack system.

    Great pack!

    Recently used this pack on a 14 day archery elk hunt. Outstanding construction with a simple design. Also feels very sturdy while wearing it.
    Only negative I noticed was a little loud/squeaky (perhaps from being brand new) and the 2 Nalgene bottle pouches flop a bit while walking/hiking. A quick strap or bungee cord to scure better and problem solved.
    Other than that, this is a fantastic, super comfortable pack for the run and gun day hunts that can take a beating while carrying alot of gear and weight.

    It's pretty much what I wanted, might be a tad bit small for the big loads, but for a senior hunter like myself it will make me lighten up some & perhaps keep me in the sport a few more years!! HALLELUJAH 🙏

    I’ve had this pack a couple years now, wanted to test a few times before reviewing. The compact size is great. I brought it with me on my Mexico desert sheep hunt. That’s the only bag I brought with me. It fit on the plane as a carry on even with a weeks worth of clothes, tripod, binos, etc. I packed out my ram head-horns, cape, skull and felt it did a good job, even though it wasn’t a bad hike out. I started using it for pack training as well. For me it actually rides better than the frame with the atlas trainer. I’m not sure why, but the Ole outdoorsman external frame just carries too much weight on my shoulders. And I’ve messed with that frame for 3 years, I just can’t get a heavy load to sit right on my body. Thankfully the spur 50 places the same amount of weight in my hips rather than my shoulders. Not saying the big frame is a bad pack setup, it just doesn’t fit right for me. So, I’ll definitely be running the Spur 50 for training and all my day to 3 day hunts!
