Lightweight, compact, and ergonomic, these pre-owned 8x40 SFL Binoculars combine ease of use with the premium optical quality ZEISS is known for. The SFL (SmartFocus Lightweight) line uses slightly smaller objective lenses for a significant weight reduction from previous models, making a day of nature observation or sightseeing much more comfortable. You'll enjoy the generous field of view for the big picture and the 5' close-focus distance for a good look at that nearby bird or butterfly. Schott HT glass with the famous T* ("T star") coating delivers 90% light transmission for a beautiful image, even in the low light of dusk or dawn. The SFL is nitrogen-filled to prevent internal fogging and is waterproof to a depth of nearly 14'.
