Built with a rechargeable lithium ion battery that can last up to 35 hours with 10 min. tracking intervals, and up to 200 hours with 30 min. tracking intervals, this rugged communication system is a must have for your next adventure.

Outfitted with TOPO mapping, the GPSMAP 66i is ready to take on challenging environments. Detailed views of terrain contours, elevations, parks, rivers, and more make navigating off the grid a breeze. Birdseye satellite imagery is now included with your 66i handheld without an annual subscription providing you with photo realistic views of trailheads, clearings, surrounding cities, and more. Combined mapping detail of Garmin TOPO and Birdseye satellite imagery will provide you with a navigational experience like no other. The Garmin GPSMAP 66i comes preloaded with Garmin 100K topo mapping.

All inclusive GPS/Communicator

What an amazing piece of equipment, as soon as they were released, I knew I had to have one. I went from carrying a Mini and a 64S to fill all my GPS needs. With this I was able to eliminate the need for two additional pieces, from needing my phone to communicate through the mini and my 64S for navigation/mapping done to just one GPS and my phone can stay in my pack and come out for nothing more than photos. The addition of being able to accept a memory/map card is amazing. The one thing about it is the battery life isn’t as good as the other InReaches, it’s closer to the battery life of other GPSMap devices. All in all, if you’re needing a GPS to perform all of your needs this is the one for you, I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
