The Tripod that Won the West

Using binoculars or a spotting scope without a tripod in 2018 is as questionable as muzzle-loading a rifle was after 1873. You can get the job done, but once you’ve felt the difference, it’s almost impossible to go back.

No matter how steady you think your hands are, nothing beats the view from a rock-solid platform. The Outdoorsmans tripod is the only one built specifically for the demands of western hunting and has been put to the test all over the world.

Become a one-man glassing army with the most hardcore tripod on the market.

Add up to 17" of height with a Center Post Extension.

Compact and sturdy

I have not been able to use the tripod extensively, but initial impressions are positive- quick to set up- compact in the pack, and sturdy.

Great Christmas gift for my wife. Couple that with a pan head and she'll stop using mine. Couples that Glass together, stay together.

Received my Compact Tripod today. Fit & Finish is perfect. The weight is 4oz heavier than advertised on two different scale's, but over all I'm quite happy with it and look forward to many years in the mountains with it. Well done.

Reliable equipment

Both my son and I have used the outdoorsman tripods for many years and now we are adding the second tripod so we can set up with the 15x56 ‘s on one tripod and the big scope on the second for more efficient glassing and judging. The compact fits nicely in the daypack and is high enough while sitting on the lightweight three leg stool. Not quite sure but I think we’ve had our original tripods for over 15 years.

Compact tripod with center post extension and pistol grip is the perfect fit for me. Works great for international sheep hunting, field judging and photographing Texas whitetails, and spotting for long distance shooting. Packs small, yet very comfortable to use from a chair.
