Outdoorsmans Gen 2 Adapter

This is a great addition if you need more for your tripod and head!

Just what I needed in n my arsenal for my new Bergara rifle.

Simple and easy to use and set up is quick and easy wonderful adapter

If used with a traditional ARCA plate, the Outdoorsman Gen-2 Adaptor Bracket will not catch the safety slip screws on the bottom of the ARCA plate.
So, if ever the latching bracket comes loose or malfunctions, the camera or spotting scope installed into the adaptor with ARCA plate will simply slide off and drop onto the ground.
However, the Gen-2 adaptor does catch the Outdoorsman mounting block/bracket as usual with the screw extending upwards on the Outdoorsman base, catching the nock in the Outdoorsman mounting block. Preventing slipping out of the bracket on the downhill or lower gravity end of the mount.

Usual ARCA mounts will catch one or both of the screws at bottom of the ARCA bracket, thus preventing the camera or other installed device from falling off, down to the ground and be damaged. The user can feel or notice the camera/device moving or sliding and can then retighten the ARCA mount to secure.
